- We want more homes to rent - especially starter homes and fewer "second homes"
- Reducing transport and food miles and supporting local businesses and jobs
- We actively support "active travel" including local cycling and walking groups
- Our Haud the Bus campaign to keep and improve important bus services

- Green Party led Bill passed by Scottish Parliament 'rent freeze Bill'
- We support the local campaign to underground the proposed Glenkens power line
- We scrutinise D&G Council on planning, climate change and community support
- We are active against new mining operations being planned in D&G
- Peat Extraction - we helped to stop this at two sites in Dumfries and Galloway
- We believe in a circular economy including reduce / re-use / repair / recycle
