Scotland's national team has inspired the nation in recent years with their qualification for back-to-back Euros and promotion to the top division of the Nations League. However, due to the games only being shown on subscription services, not everybody was able to experience it.
It is time for the Scottish Football Association to work with broadcasters to allow more fans to watch all Scotland games, including the men's team and the women's team, without the need to pay.
If we want children to look up to our athletes or to be inspired by them then they need to be able to see them in action. Our national team should be for all of us. Far too many of our sporting events are already far too expensive for families to attend, or they are hidden behind a costly paywall.
Many countries already ensure their games are free to view. Scotland should join them.
