Scotland's nature is one of our greatest strengths.

But our natural world is under attack. The Scottish Government is set to roll back the vital protections that keep vested interests from running roughshod over it for personal profit.

Our stunning mountains. Our wild coastlines. The red squirrels in our forests. The whales and dolphins in our Firths. The eagles soaring in our skies. These changes would put it all under threat.

Whether it's theme park operators trying to buy up the shores of Loch Lomond, or billionaire golf course developers trying to undermine special environmental and scientific designations at Coul Links, there's no shortage of rich and powerful people ready to exploit our land and seas for their own gain.

And pressure from these corporate interests and private profiteers is mounting.

They see the laws that protect our natural environment as a barrier to their private interests. They want to rig the system in their favour, and those in power are listening.

Now the Scottish Government is planning to give itself sweeping and unprecedented powers to unpick our critical protections for nature.

We can’t let them get away with it. Our natural world is our shared wealth. Scotland’s nature needs us to act.

Tell the Scottish Government that nature is worth defending. Tell them to scrap these reckless plans.

Tell the Scottish Government to defend Scotland's nature
