Mark James is our candidate for Dunbar & East Linton ward. A well-known figure around the area, Mark is a community activist for Sustaining Dunbar.
Hailing from Belhaven, Mark is standing to be able to represent his community and hopes to work with the other councillors to ensure that the Council makes social justice and sustainability a top priority in all decisions.
Mark has pledged to cycle or take the bus when carrying out all Council duties if elected. He commented:
I am excited to have the opportunity to represent the community I have lived in for the past 21 years. We need to work together to tackle the climate crisis.
