Time to send Farage packing
Reacting to today's statement from Nigel Farage, Scottish Greens MSP Patrick Harvie said:
“This is a desperate attempt at distraction from a deeply troubled man who is trying to do anything but answer questions about his dodgy handouts from crypto billionaires and a wealthy fraudster.
“Nigel Farage is a snake oil salesman who has pretended to stand on the side of working-class people and communities when in reality he is the worst example of the same establishment that he pretends to rail against. Whether it has been a representative of UKIP, the Brexit Party or Reform, he has always represented the worst of politics.
“Reform’s vision is one where the super rich can ratchet up ever greater profits while migrant communities are demonised and blamed.
“This is a deeply cynical political play, and it must not be allowed to block the standards committee process and avoid overdue scrutiny of his finances. I hope the people of Clacton send Farage packing.”
