Time for Starmer to go

Every day that Keir Starmer remains in office is an insult to the voters that put him there, says Scottish Green Co-leader Gillian Mackay.
Gillian's comments come as the Mandelson scandals get worse and polls show an overwhelming majority of people across the UK want Starmer to go.
Gillian said:
“The Prime Minister has lost his authority and the support of the public.
“He was elected by promising change, but only 18 months later he is clinging on to office by his fingernails.
“The Mandelson scandal has exposed terrible decision making and a willingness to ignore all evidence in favour of his friends.
“Everyone knew Mandelson was too compromised and unsuitable for such a senior role. There was no shortage of people warning him.
“Keir Starmer's time as leader is up, and every day that he remains in office is an insult to the people who trusted him with their vote.
“The question is not if he will go, but how much lower he will sink and how much damage he will do on the way out. The country deserves much better than this shameful saga.
“Every Labour MP has a voice in this. I urge them all to stand up for what is right and to join the calls for the PM to resign.”
