Welcoming the relaunch of the Scottish Government’s domestic abuse campaign, Scottish Greens Justice Spokesperson John Finnie MSP said:

“I welcome confirmation that the Scottish Government has provided additional funding to support Rape Crisis Scotland and Scottish Women’s Aid at this extremely challenging time. Staying at home isn’t simple if home isn’t safe. For women living in lockdown with a partner who is abusing them this unprecedented emergency will bring additional strain and anxiety. I am pleased that the First Minister has made it clear that Police Scotland will continue to prioritise cases of domestic abuse.”
