Angus Greens are protecting our communities

The Scottish Greens have been supporting the Angus Rangers to improve our country parks and build the habitats which will keep us safe.
Climate change is affecting our daily lives.
Following the floods that devastated Brechin and other towns, many people feel abandoned and forced to fend for themselves.
Floods are “hitting the people that are least resilient” according to community volunteers.
We demand that more needs to be done to prepare us for the effects of climate change.
We can prevent devastating flash-flooding by building habitats which keep the water in the ground for longer.
We can help our native plants by eradicating invasive species such as Himalayan Balsom which will better pollinate our fields and gardens and protect our riverbanks.
We are committed to finding opportunities to help our communities
prepare for the challenges ahead.
And you can help!
