Fife Greens are pleased to announce our candidate for the Leven, Kennoway and Largo council by-election, which will take place on Thursday the 15th of December 2016.

Iain Morrice is an experienced member of the Scottish Green Party, having stood as a candidate on numerous occasions, and having acted as treasurer on the party executive.

Iain is passionate about environmental protection, and would welcome the opportunity to improve the lives of Fife residents. If elected, one of Iain’s priorities would be to work to improve public transport, including campaigning for the reinstatement of the Levenmouth Rail Link.

Iain is a retired IT architect.

Green councillors in other areas in Scotland have been shown to make a difference, standing up for their communities while challenging the status quo that exists within many local authorities. They have been successful in achieving change on a range of topics, from improving public transport and local education, to opposing unsuitable developments or simply improving road safety for your families. If elected, Iain will work with councillors from other parties to do the same.
