Welcome to the first of what will be a weekly e-mail about the Glasgow-wide Students & Young People’s campaign to elect Patrick Harvie and Zara Kitson to the Scottish Parliament in May!
Although it might still feel like a long time away, we now only have 65 days to go until the election on May 5th. Over the next couple of months, we can make sure that Glasgow for the first time ever sends two Green MSPs to Holyrood to fight for the better, bolder Scotland that we need.
We want to involve YOU in what is shaping up to be our biggest and most exciting campaign yet. Whether you’re a student or not, come along to one or two of the events listed underneath to meet new people, learn new skills and help us achieve our best ever result!

What’s happening?
Weekly lunchtime stalls around Glasgow University and Strathclyde University - Join us in talking to students about registering to vote and share your own story about why you’re voting Green. You don’t have to be a great speaker to do this, just enthusiastic! Stalls every Thursday at Glasgow Uni and varying days at Strathclyde
Leafleting every Tuesday evening - Between now and the election, we’re going to leaflet every student halls in Glasgow! We usually spend about an hour leafleting and then go for a drink afterwards. Get in touch if you’re up for that, especially if you live in halls with controlled entry and can let us in!
