Greetings and welcome to my new website which will be used to cover all of my Parliamentary and other activities as an MSP.

This is an exciting time for Scottish Greens and for the Scottish Parliament. With a five-year term, new legislative powers, an all-minority Parliament and the ongoing challenges thrown up by the Eu referendum, the future is full of possibility. During the Scottish election campaign earlier this year, Scottish Greens argued that a better Scotland needs a bolder Holyrood. I intend to do all in my power to deliver that. Working on the Economy, Jobs and Fair Work Committee and the Local Government and Communities Committee as well as through scrutiny, questions and debates, I will be working with colleagues to create a fairer and greener Scotland.

This blog will contain updates on ongoing issues and the website contains links to my Parliamentary activity as well as how to contact me. My personal website at www.andywightman.com contains material relating to my work over the past ten years and I will continue to write there but with less frequency.

 I look forward to working with you all over the next five years.
