Scotland must not be used as a staging ground for Donald Trump's threats against Greenland.
Donald Trump continues to threaten the invasion of Greenland, and has now threatened European countries for standing with their ally. Coming after his illegal invasion of Venezuela, we cannot treat these as empty threats.
We have the power here in Scotland to take action.
The Scottish Government must ensure the US military cannot use any Scottish infrastructure or assets to threaten our allies., including any of our publicly owned airports, which are frequently used by the US air force.
The US under Donald Trump is increasingly becoming a rogue state, showing contempt for international law, democracy, and Europe. We must use every lever we can to ensure Scotland isn't backing Trump's war machine.
