Thank you for your support over the last few weeks, and let's keep that energy going over the next couple of years, as we run up to the chance to get more Greens elected to represent Glasgow and Scotland Patrick Harvie MSP

The European Elections are now over, and although the Green Wave didn't quite hit Scotland's shores there was still a positive result and gains were made in Glasgow.  Patrick Harvie has a message for everyone who campaigned in Glasgow, why they should be proud of Glasgow's results, and what we can do going forwards.

Glasgow Green Party AGM 2019

The Annual General Meeting of the Glasgow Green Party will be held on Saturday 21st September, at Community Central Hall, 292 - 316 Maryhill Road, Glasgow. Doors will open at 10am, with the AGM starting at 10.30am.

Today is Earth Day. To celebrate we urge all members of the Glasgow branch to fill in Glasgow City Council's Climate Change survey to make sure that the Climate Emergency Working Group gets a clear message that Glasgow residents demand more action.

A Greener Future for Byres Road

Last year Greens warned [https://greens.scot/glasgow/news/9-million-byres-road-plans-risk-a-misse... that the £9 million investment in Byres Road risked being a missed opportunity, with timid plans that did nothing to tackle congestion or air pollution, and that failed to provide the sort of safe infrastructure needed to make walking and cycling attractive and encourage people to stop using cars for short journeys.
